I was contracted by the Food Justice Collaborative, a BIPOC-led coalition addressing food insecurity in King County, to develop their logo and iconography. Rooted in their mission to transform the emergency food system, my design approach was inspired by their four core pillars: learning, power building, fund development, and celebration/joy. I created a system of abstract iconography paired with deep, earthy tones that reflect the coalition’s identity and values. This project resonated deeply with my commitment to communal prosperity, and I’m excited to soon see this work activated in community spaces, representing a cause I deeply believe in.
