I was hired to design the branding and iconography for Dunas, a Central American restaurant based in Burien. The original signage didn’t reflect the owner Etelbina’s vision, so I led a design process rooted in cultural storytelling. Inspired by our shared Honduran heritage, I hand-drew icons such as drums, plantains, and Gifiti, and selected a color palette representing Garifuna identity. The final logo combines meaningful symbolism with clean typography, offering a visually strong and culturally resonant brand system.
